Posición Unida are a hardcore band from Washington, DC, a bilingual band of teens and early 20 year olds. They started in 2024 and quickly made a name for themselves thanks to their live shows and this demo tape in the nation’s capital and beyond with their blend of mid 2000s bounce and youth crew fury.
While hardcore can be dismissed as merely traditional and formulaic, Posición show us how this style, an optimistic and earnest take, is still necessary. They sing of hope and positivity, of new realities and personal responsibility, all while coming of age in perhaps the darkest era of the world’s history.
