No Presents for Christmas was originally released in 1985 as the debut single by King Diamond, marking his first release after the breakup of Mercyful Fate. The B side contains "Charon" which is the same studio version that later appeared on the Mercyful Fates's debut album Fatal Portrait in 1986.
