Grave - Back from the Grave LP (black vinyl)

GRAVE has created a sound and style which has been an inspiration on a number of the genre's more promising younger outfits, both for their initial Old School Death Metal roots but also for their early Death ‘n’ Roll approach. Together with bands like Nihilist / Entombed or also Carnage / Dismember, GRAVE certainly belong to the classic group of prominent Death Metal acts from the east coast of Sweden that established a worldwide reputation and a trademark low-frequency sound-attack.

After four albums and continuous touring, GRAVE entered a state of hibernation, which would last for a full five years. The revigorated quartet decided to enter Sunlight Studio in early 2002 with longtime producer Tomas Skoksberg to nail down nine brand new tracks for their furious comeback album Back From The Grave. And this brutal four piece has definitely regained its strength and power, so that all friends of the old and untamed school of Swedish Death Metal should be pleasantly surprised with this offering.
